Aqua One Airstone Pvc Encased Green 105cm

Description

Aqua One Airstone PVC Encased Green 105cm — High-Volume Aeration Air Curtain & Visual Impacter In Large Aquariums

The Aqua One Airstone PVC Encased Green 105cm (SKU: 10129) is a flexible, heavy-duty air curtain designed to deliver aeration and visual impact in large aquariums. Encased in a durable, weighted green PVC housing, this 105 cm airstone stays anchored flat along the substrate floor without floating or shifting, producing a continuous, uniform wall of fine air bubbles across expansive display tanks.

Continuous aeration increases surface agitation, driving effective gas exchange to expel carbon dioxide and enrich dissolved oxygen levels vital for fish health and biological filtration. Resistant to clogging and mineral buildup, the 105cm airstone connects easily to standard 4mm aquarium airline tubing powered by a medium-to-large air pump.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Large Aquarium Aeration: Spans large tank floors up to 4 feet in length for maximum surface aeration.
• Bubble Wall Visual Effects: Creates a continuous curtain of fine bubbles along rear aquarium walls.
• Improving Dissolved Oxygen: Prevents oxygen depletion in heavily stocked or warm water tanks.

Installation & Connection Guide

• Step 1: Connect standard 4mm silicone airline tubing from your air pump to the airstone intake nozzle.
• Step 2: Position the weighted PVC bar flat against the aquarium substrate along the rear glass panel.
• Step 3: Cover edges lightly with gravel or sand to conceal the bar while leaving the bubble outlets exposed.
• Step 4: Use a check valve in the air line to prevent water back-siphoning during power outages.
