Aqua One Airstone Pvc Encased Green 80cm

Description

Aqua One Airstone PVC Encased Green 80cm — For Weighted Aeration Bubble Wall & Visual Appeal In Mid & Large Aquariums

The Aqua One Airstone PVC Encased Green 80cm (SKU: 10128) provides high-performance aeration and visual appeal for medium-to-large aquariums. Encased in a flexible, weighted green PVC protective sheath, this 80 cm airstone remains submerged along the substrate, producing a continuous curtain of fine air bubbles that enhances gas exchange and circulation throughout the water column.

Increasing dissolved oxygen levels is essential for keeping tropical fish active and supporting beneficial nitrifying filter bacteria. The durable PVC casing resists cracking, algae clogging, and mineral buildup, making it a reliable aeration accessory for freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Medium-Large Aquariums: Fits 3-foot and 4-foot aquariums to deliver balanced, full-length bubble coverage.
• Boosting Circulation: Promotes vertical water currents that lift warm bottom water toward the surface.
• High Bioload Support: Supplies supplemental oxygen to heavily stocked community or cichlid tanks.

Installation & Connection Guide

• Step 1: Push standard 4mm aquarium airline tubing firmly onto the green intake fitting.
• Step 2: Press the weighted bar down onto the bottom glass or embed it slightly into substrate.
• Step 3: Connect the opposite end of the airline tubing to an appropriately sized aquarium air pump.
• Step 4: Install an inline check valve between the air pump and airstone for siphoning protection.
