Fish Net 4″ (10.16cm) – Bundle of 12

Description

Fish Net 4″ (10.16cm) – Bundle of 12 — Compact net for tetras, guppies and other small community fish, twelve to a bundle

Shops and breeders net small tetras, rasboras and livebearers all day, and a net that is slightly too big makes every catch slower. Fish Net 4″ (10.16cm) – Bundle of 12 (SKU: SFISN4) is a bundle of twelve Serenity aquarium nets with a 4 in (10.16 cm) frame, a compact size for small community fish in nano to medium aquariums. It is wide enough to take a few neon tetras or guppies in one pass, yet small enough to work around plants, rockwork and filter pipes without uprooting the scape. Twelve to a bundle, the nets suit retail tanks, fish rooms, clubs and households with several small aquariums.

The 4 in frame is the size most often reached for when bagging small fish, catching a single livebearer for a breeding box, or moving a few fish to a quarantine tank. Two nets used together make the job quicker and calmer: one held still as a target, the other used to steer the fish gently into it, instead of a long chase that stresses the whole tank. With a dozen in the bundle, each tank or each system can keep its own net, which limits the spread of disease and pests, and worn nets are simply swapped for a fresh one from the pack. The net is wetted before use, fish are lifted out level and released promptly, and spiny fish or long-finned varieties that snag easily are better scooped in a container with the net used only to guide them. After use, a rinse in clean water and an air dry keep the mesh in good order.
