Mantis Magnet Viewer – Ms-017 (SKU: MA069805) is a magnetic viewing portal built with an optical-grade magnifying glass lens, held in place on the aquarium glass by its own magnets rather than a suction cup or a hand. The viewing portal is about 10 cm (4 in) across, large enough to frame a coral head, a fish or a cleaning crew without constantly repositioning the unit, and once attached it stays put for extended viewing or photography sessions.

The lens has a focal range of about 7.5 cm (3 in) from the glass, which is the working distance at which the magnified image comes into sharp focus, and it is intended to bring out detail on corals, fish and other aquatic life that is easy to miss through plain glass or acrylic.
