Containing a synergistic blend of aerobic, anaerobic, and facultative bacterial species, Seed rapidly breaks down organic waste, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate.
Aquavitro Seed is designed to quickly and safely establish a robust biofilter in both freshwater and marine aquariums, effectively preventing “New tank syndrome”, a primary cause of fish mortality.  Unlike unstable bacteria found in competing products, this seed contains a unique, hardy blend of aerobic, anaerobic, and facultative bacteria that can adapt to diverse conditions.

Unlike traditional bacterial supplements, the microbial cultures in Seed are non-sulphur fixing, ensuring they do not produce toxic hydrogen sulphide gas under low-oxygen conditions. Seed accelerates natural bio-cycling, making new setups safe for livestock in a fraction of the standard cycling timeframe. This specialised formula includes both nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria, a combination not found in other similar products, to facilitate comprehensive waste breakdown.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• New Tank Setups: Establishes active biological filtration rapidly when setting up fresh or marine aquariums.

• Post-Medication Recovery: Restores lost bacterial colonies following antibiotic or chemical treatments.

Dosing & Application Guide

• New Aquariums: Dose 5 mL per 40 L (10 US gallons) on Day 1, followed by 5 mL per 80 L (20 US gallons) daily for 7 days.

• Maintenance / Adding Stock: Dose 5 mL per 80 L (20 US gallons) whenever adding new fish or cleaning filter media.
