Quantum AR Phosphate Remover 500ml — Liquid Lanthanum Phosphate Remover for Mid-Size Marine Systems

A 300 L reef sitting at 0.5 ppm phosphate needs a few millilitres of lanthanum a day for a couple of weeks, and then a trickle to hold it. Quantum AR Phosphate Remover 500ml (SKU: QA150500) is sized for that job: a solution of purified lanthanum in deionised water that binds ionic and chemically bound phosphate and precipitates it for mechanical filtration to catch. Quantum rates it for LPS, mixed, SPS, NPS and FOWLR aquariums, and the 500 mL bottle covers the initial reduction and months of maintenance on a mid-sized system.

Dosing follows the reading, from 0.1 to 1.0 mL per 100 L a day at 0.03 to 0.25 ppm phosphate through to 10 mL per 100 L above 10 ppm; the full table is in the details below. It is added directly into high water flow and can be run on a dosing pump, which makes the daily routine easy to automate. Quantum gives one visual warning, a fine white film on the glass that indicates overdosing, and one restriction, no use in aquariums containing live plants. Testing every few days during the reduction phase keeps the dose matched to the level.
