It is a solution of purified lanthanum in deionised water that binds ionic and chemically bound phosphate and precipitates it so mechanical filtration removes it, and the 5 L container carries a 20 mL capful for hand dosing on large volumes. Quantum rates it for LPS, mixed, SPS, NPS and FOWLR systems, and the dosing table is the same as the smaller bottles.

Per 100 L daily the dose runs from 0.1 to 1.0 mL at 0.03 to 0.25 ppm phosphate up to 10 mL above 10 ppm, with the intermediate rows in the details below. A 2,000 L holding system at 1 ppm takes 20 to 100 mL a day, so 5 L covers a long reduction and the maintenance after it. Dose it directly into high water flow, by capful or on a dosing pump. A fine white film on the glass indicates overdosing, and the product must not be used in aquariums containing live plants, so keep it to the marine systems.
