Separate control of alkalinity is the main reason keepers move from two-part to three-part dosing, and Quantum Aragonite B 500ml (SKU: QA110500) is the bottle that provides it. It is a buffer solution in deionised water, the alkalinity component of Quantum’s Aragonite system, dosed alongside Aragonite A for calcium and Aragonite C for magnesium so that each can be adjusted without disturbing the others. At 1 mL per 100 L raising alkalinity by about 0.1 dKH, the 500 mL size suits small to mid-sized reefs with a moderate daily draw.
