Corals in a nano get fed less often than corals in a big tank, simply because every feed shows up on the phosphate test. Quantum Bio-Enhance 100ml (SKU: QA230100) is the way round that: a blend of amino acids, vitamins, carbohydrates, protein, fatty acids, energy and what Quantum calls cellular bound nourishment enhancers, in deionised water, dosed in drops rather than fed as particles. It is formulated to improve colour, induce feeding responses, increase vitality and boost immunity, and it is rated for LPS, mixed, SPS and NPS systems. The 100 mL bottle is dosed per 50 L for small tanks.

The daily dose is 5 drops per 50 L for a lightly stocked tank, 7 drops for moderate and 10 for heavy, with 20 drops to the millilitre, added straight into high water flow. There is no need to shake the bottle, no refrigeration to worry about, and it can go on a dosing pump if the keeper prefers. On a 60 L nano at the moderate rate that is about 8 drops a day, so the bottle runs for roughly eight months. Many keepers dose it in the evening, when LPS polyps are extended and the feeding response is easiest to see.
