Coral farms dose amino acids because fed frags heal faster, colour up sooner and sell better, and at farm scale that means litres a month. Quantum Bio-Enhance 5L (SKU: QA235000) is the bulk size: a blend of amino acids, vitamins, carbohydrates, protein, fatty acids, energy and cellular bound nourishment enhancers in deionised water, formulated to improve colour, induce feeding responses, increase vitality and boost immunity. The 5 L container has a 20 mL capful, is rated for LPS, mixed, SPS and NPS systems, and is usually plumbed straight into a dosing line.

The rate is unchanged from the bottles, 0.50, 0.75 or 1.00 mL per 100 L a day for light, moderate or heavy stocking, added straight into high water flow. It is not shaken, needs no refrigeration and runs on dosing pumps. A 2,000 L farm system on the moderate rate draws 15 mL a day, which puts 5 L at roughly eleven months; a busy retail coral system with heavy stocking uses it faster but still gets most of a year. Fresh-cut frags are where the benefit shows first, in the speed of tissue closing over the cut.
