One block treats up to 120 litres and goes into the tank whole, with nothing to measure. It is the alkaline end of a set of three Serenity blocks, alongside the pH6 and pH7 versions.

Like the rest of the set, the block maintains a pH rather than creating one, and Serenity’s advice is to reach the desired pH first and then use the block to keep it steady.
