A blend of trace elements and buffers designed to encourage strong coralline algae growth.
While coralline algae naturally develop in reef systems optimized for hard corals, fish-only and soft-coral aquariums require stable alkalinity—around 3 meq/L (8.4 dKH)—along with readily available minor and trace elements to support their growth.
Coralline Gro is formulated with carbonate buffers, potassium, and essential trace elements like iron, all balanced in the proportions coralline algae consistently absorb. It is recommended as a replacement for Reef Foundation B (buffer) during the initial cycling of new saltwater tanks and for continuous use in systems housing fish or soft corals.
