A litre of ready-mixed magnesium is the simplest way to run the C line of a three-part doser without weighing or dissolving anything. Red Sea Reef Foundation C Magnesium Liquid 1L (SKU: RED282b) is the liquid magnesium supplement in Red Sea’s Reef Foundation series, blended salts of magnesium in solution, forming the C part of the Foundation A, B and C system used in the Reef Care Program. Red Sea states that 1 mL raises the magnesium level of 100 L by 1 ppm, and the liquid is dosed according to the magnesium the aquarium is measured to consume rather than a fixed daily volume.

Across Red Sea’s Reef Care Program recipes magnesium sits between about 1,220 and 1,390 ppm by aquarium type, with a mixed reef at 1,350 ppm and Red Sea Salt itself at 1,310 ppm.
