Seachem Clarity 500mL (SKU: 724961-143) is a high-yield polymer clarifier designed to eliminate cloudy water caused by bacterial blooms, substrate dust, gravel washing, or suspended organic particulates. Upon dosing, Clarity acts as a flocculant, attracting micro-particulates and binding them into macro-clusters that are easily caught by mechanical filter media.

Suitable for both freshwater planted tanks and saltwater marine environments, Clarity offers clear water restoration without destabilising water chemistry. The 500mL size provides an economical supply for routine water maintenance across medium-to-large aquarium installations.

Usage & Application

When to Use

  • Persistent Water Cloudiness: Use during stubborn organic hazes, bacterial blooms, or fine substrate cloudiness.

  • Routine Water Maintenance: Apply following gravel vacuuming or aquascaping to clear stirred-up organic debris.

Dosage & Application Guide

  • Standard Dosage: Add 5 mL (1 capful) per 80 L (20 US gallons) of tank water.

  • Operational Note: Temporary increase in cloudiness is normal as micro-particulates clump together.

  • Filter Maintenance: Rinse or replace fine mechanical filter pads shortly after dosing to permanently remove trapped debris clusters.
