Seachem Discus Buffer

Description

Seachem Discus Buffer is specifically formulated to lower and stabilise pH while softening water in freshwater aquariums housing discus fish. It helps maintain an ideal pH range of 5.8 to 6.8, which is critical for discus health, colouration, and breeding success.

By reducing carbonate hardness and precipitating calcium and magnesium, Discus Buffer recreates the soft, slightly acidic conditions found in the natural habitats of discus. It is particularly useful in areas with hard or alkaline tap water and can be used as part of regular aquarium maintenance or during water changes.
