Description

Seachem Reef Dip™ is an iodine-based coral disinfectant formulated to protect reef organisms from bacterial, fungal, and protozoan infections. It is specifically designed for use as a coral dip, making it ideal for new coral introductions, damaged specimens, or preventative treatment before placement into a reef system.

The unique iodine complex forms a temporary protective slime coat, allowing prolonged contact with affected tissue while remaining gentle on delicate coral structures. This helps improve treatment effectiveness and supports recovery without disrupting the main aquarium or reef ecosystem.

Directions for Use

Prepare Dip Solution

• Mix 5–10 mL per 4 L of aquarium water in a separate container

Dip Treatment

• Place coral in solution for 15–30 minutes
• For severe infections, double dose may be used

Targeted Treatment (Optional)

• Apply a small amount of Reef Dip™ concentrate directly to visible lesions before dipping

After Treatment

• Return coral to aquarium
• Do not add dip water to the display tank

Usage Notes

• Always use Reef Dip™ outside the aquarium
• Observe coral during treatment for stress
• Allow recovery time between repeated treatments
• Best used as a preventative measure for new coral additions
