Quantum Tropical / Community KH Pro 5L (SKU: QA375000) is the bulk size of a solution of safe KH salts in deionised water formulated to raise KH gently to the level of tropical lake water. That KH is what keeps pH from fluctuating and the biochemical processes of fish and shrimp running efficiently, and the product is designed to be used with Tropical/Community pH Pro and Tropical/Community Pro Salt GH in pond, shrimp and tropical community systems.

Nothing changes with the container size: 10 mL per 100 L still raises KH by 0.5 dKH, the range is still 0.5 to 2 dKH, and change water alone is dosed. A fish room conditioning 500 L a week from RO to 1.5 dKH uses 150 mL, so 5 L lasts around thirty-three weeks; a 5,000 L pond buffered from 0.5 to 1.5 dKH at fill takes a litre, then only small top-ups. The container suits a mixing barrel where a week’s change water is treated in one go.

• Replacement water only: Condition the water going in; the tanks are already where they should be.
