Red Cabomba is famous among planted-tank keepers for its colour and infamous for how quickly it melts without intense light, CO₂ and steady fertiliser. Ecoscape Medium Cabomba Red (SKU: 28270) is the Medium size of Aqua One’s red Ecoscape Cabomba, a plastic artificial plant with the finely divided, fan-shaped leaves of Cabomba furcata in a strong red. Retailer listings put Ecoscape Medium plants at about 20 cm, a mid-ground height in most aquariums. It stands on a weighted base and keeps its colour indefinitely, with nothing to trim, feed or light.

Aqua One states that the Ecoscape range needs no special lighting, supplements or pruning, is safe with destructive fish such as cichlids, carries no risk of introducing pests or parasites, and does not decay, so it holds its shape longer than any live plant.
