Directions for Use

1. Rinse the pouch under tap water to remove dust.

2. Place it in the flow path of your aquarium filter.

For New Aquariums or High Ammonia/Nitrite Levels:

• Recharge every 5 days during the first month, then every 2 weeks in the second month.

For Established Aquariums:

• Recharge every 2 weeks.

When Nitrate Levels Are Elevated:

• Recharge every 5 days until nitrate drops below 20 ppm.

Replacement:

• Replace the pouch after 2 months of use.

Recharging Instructions

1. Dissolve 4 tablespoons (80 g) of API Aquarium Salt in 240 ml (8 oz) of warm water.

2. Soak the pouch in the solution for 2 hours, then rinse lightly.

3. Store in the recharging solution when not in use to maintain effectiveness.
