Description

Fluval AquaClear 20/30 Activated Carbon Insert (3 qty Pack) — Chemical filtration for AquaClear 20 and 30 Power Filters

The Fluval AquaClear 20/30 Activated Carbon Insert 3-Pack (SKU: FAQ25) provides high-adsorption chemical filtration for AquaClear 20 and 30 Power Filters. Premium research-grade activated carbon absorbs dissolved organic impurities, odours, discolouration, and harmful toxins. Activated Carbon improves water clarity in fresh and saltwater aquariums.

Pre-measured into convenient mesh pouches, these inserts restore clarity and aquatic safety to small aquariums without leaching phosphates back into the water.

Usage & Application

When to Use

  • Water Clarification: Removes yellow water tints, tannins from driftwood, and foul odours.

  • Post-Medication Clean Up: Safely extracts residual fish medications after treatment cycles finish.

How to Use / Installation Process

  1. Rinse the carbon pouch under cold tap water until runoff water is completely clear of carbon dust.

  2. Place the pouch in the middle layer of the AquaClear filter basket.

  3. Replace with a fresh pouch every 2 to 4 weeks, as carbon loses adsorption capacity. For best results, replace every 4 weeks.
