Fluval Foam Blocks (SKU: FA24) are high-density mechanical filter inserts custom-moulded for Fluval 104, 105, 106, and 107 series canister filters. Positioned vertically in the filter screen frame, these foam inserts trap particulate waste and debris as water enters the canister. By capturing floating solids, they protect subsequent media layers from clogging and provide essential surface area for early-stage nitrifying bacteria. Designed specifically for the Fluval 104, 105, 106, and 107 performance canister filters, Bio-Foam captures large particles and debris for effective mechanical filtration.
Usage & Application
When to Use

How to Use

Unplug the canister filter and open the motor head.

Remove the vertical foam frame and discard old foam blocks.
