Usage & Application

When to Use

• New Aquarium Setup: Use during initial tank cycling to control ammonia(NH₃) surges as biological filtration establishes. Ideal for new and heavily stocked aquariums

• Heavy Bio-Load Systems: Apply in heavily stocked, cichlid, or goldfish tanks to prevent waste accumulation spikes.

How to Use

1. Disconnect and open your Fluval FX series canister filter housing.

2. Place one Ammonia Pad into the designated media basket.

3. Rinse briefly under clean tap water before installation to remove loose dust. Use after medicating fish

4. Replace monthly or immediately after resolving an acute ammonia(NH₃) surge. For best results, replace monthly or as required after testing water. For freshwater use only.
