Phosphate Resin-infused pads perform double duty as both an effective mechanical and chemical media. Designed for larger aquariums, this 6-pack provides long-term control against nutrient spikes that feed unsightly hair algae, brush algae, and green water.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Nuisance Algae Management: Use when controlling persistent algae blooms in medium to large aquariums.

• Routine Water Conditioning: Maintain in high-light or heavily fed aquariums to keep phosphates below target limits.

• Pre-Treating Source Water: Ideal for tanks topped off with tap water high in natural phosphates.

How to Use

1. Disconnect filter power and open the main canister head.

2. Slide the Phosphate Pad into the 307/407 media basket frame.

3. Rinse under tap water prior to positioning in the filter tray.

4. Use as many pads as necessary to reduce and control phosphate levels.

5. Replace monthly or as guided by regular testing or as required after testing water with your Fluval test kit.
