Usage & Application

When to Use

• First-Stage Filtration: Position in the bottom or intake tray of canister filters to catch heavy physical debris.

• Flow Management: Use to disperse high-velocity incoming water across the entire media basket surface area.

How to Use

1. Remove pre-filter ceramic rings from packaging and place into a mesh media bag or directly into the bottom media basket.

2. Rinse thoroughly under tap water to clear any dust generated during transit.

3. Place in the first filtration stage (where water enters the canister).

4. Rinse gently in old aquarium water during routine filter maintenance to remove trapped waste; do not replace unless physical breakdown occurs.
