Usage & Application

When to Use

  • Bulk Chemical Filtration: Ideal for custom-filling media baskets in high-flow canister filters and sumps.

  • Large & Heavily Stocked Aquariums: Essential for maintaining water clarity in large setups with high organic waste loads.

How to Use

  1. Fill a fine-mesh filter media bag with activated carbon granules.

  2. Rinse under running fresh water until all fine dust is washed away.

  3. Insert into the chemical media section of your filter.

  4. Replace every 3 to 4 weeks to ensure continuous absorption capability and best results, because activated carbon becomes fully saturated over one month.
