Seachem PhosBond is a high-performance phosphate and silicate removal media designed for both freshwater and marine aquariums. It uniquely combines aluminum oxide and granular ferric oxide (GFO), delivering faster nutrient reduction than standard phosphate removers while maintaining a high, long-lasting binding capacity.

Its highly porous structure maximizes contact area, allowing rapid adsorption of excess phosphate and silicate two key contributors to nuisance algae growth. Unlike softer media, PhosBond is physically durable, meaning it will not crumble, compact, or release bound nutrients back into the water, even in high-flow filtration systems.
