Aqua Medic Filter Bag 1 22 X 15cm (2 Pcs) (SKU: AM42901) is the smallest of Aqua Medic’s zip-closing filter bags (item 429.01), a two-pack of 22 × 15 cm bags made to contain fine filter media such as activated carbon, Antiphos Fe or other granular media. Each bag closes with a zip fastener rather than a drawstring or a knot, so spent media can be tipped out and fresh media added quickly, and the bag reused. Aqua Medic lists the bags as suitable for both freshwater and saltwater.

At 22 by 15 cm this is the size for modest amounts of media: a small dose of carbon to clear yellowing after medication, a measured portion of phosphate adsorber in a nano sump, or a single layer of media in the basket of a canister or hang-on filter.
