The Fluval U2 Internal Filter (SKU: PF132) is a compact, multi-stage underwater power filter designed for aquariums up to 110 litres. Featuring innovative 3-Stage Filtration (mechanical, chemical, and biological) alongside versatile 3-Way Flow Control, the U2 gives aquarists total freedom to customise water direction and turnover for any aquatic environment. Offering outstanding 3-stage filtration, increased water movement and vital aeration, Fluval U-Series internal filters are the perfect solution where external filtration is not possible. Equipped with a top-opening flip lid for rapid, hassle-free media access without removing the filter from the aquarium, the U2 provides maximum maintenance convenience. Its versatile directional nozzles allow top outlet flow for oxygenation, a spray bar for planted displays, or a bottom outlet for deep-water agitation.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Primary Submerged Filtration: Excellent primary filter for aquariums, shrimp tanks, or turtle terrariums up to 110 L.

• Supplementary Circulation: Use as a secondary filter or wave maker in larger aquarium setups requiring extra circulation.

How to Use

1. Install the included media (Foam pads, Poly/Carbon cartridge, and BioMax nodes) into the internal cradle.

2. Secure the filter vertically or horizontally onto internal tank glass using the suction cup bracket.

3. Ensure the filter is submerged to the required water depth line and plug it into power. Position vertically against the aquarium wall to create currents or customised flow patterns.

4. Set the 3-way flow control knob to select top spray, middle spray bar, or bottom discharge options. Position horizontally for shallow tanks, larger tanks with low water levels, or to create a decorative waterfall feature

5. Use as a primary filter for smaller aquariums, or a supplementary filter for larger aquariums
