The Fluval U4 Internal Filter (SKU: PF134) is a heavy-duty, multi-stage internal submersible filter engineered for medium to large aquariums up to 240 litres. Delivering powerful underwater filtration, the U4 combines mechanical foam, poly/carbon chemical pads, and biological BioMax ceramic nodes inside a sleek, quiet housing.

Featuring Fluval’s signature 3-Way Flow Control, the U4 allows you to direct output via a top jet for surface agitation, a central spray bar for gentle flow distribution, or a bottom spout for deep circulation. The convenient top-flip opening door makes media inspection and replacement effortless without removing the filter body from the tank glass.

Usage & Application

When to Use

  • Primary Tank Filtration: Ideal primary filter for freshwater community, cichlid, and marine aquariums up to 240 L.

  • Turtle & Reptile Setups: Can be mounted horizontally in shallow water setups for turtles, frogs, and amphibians.

How to Use / Installation Process
