Absolute Algae Wafer 240g

Description

Absolute Algae Wafer 240g – Herbivore food for algae-eating aquatic animals

Absolute Algae Wafer 240g (SKU: AW8024) is a premium sinking herbivore diet formulated specifically for bottom-dwelling algae eaters, Plecostomus species, Ancistrus, Otocinclus, freshwater loaches, and invertebrates. Rich in natural spirulina algae, kelp, and essential plant proteins, these dense wafers sink quickly to the substrate where bottom feeders naturally graze.

Engineered with a water-stable formula, these wafers retain their shape and structural integrity underwater for extended periods without breaking down quickly, allowing nocturnal and shy bottom-dwellers to graze naturally without clouding the aquarium water.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Daily Substrate Grazing: Ideal daily food for plecos, bristlenose, otocinclus, corydoras, and freshwater shrimp.

• Nocturnal Feeding: Perfect for dropping into the tank before turning aquarium lights off for night-feeding catfish.

• Supplemental Herbivore Feeding: Prevents algae-eating fish from damaging live aquatic plants when natural tank algae is scarce.

How to Use

1. Feed 1 to 2 times daily, or once before switching off aquarium lights for nocturnal species.

2. Drop only as many wafers as your bottom feeders can graze on within 2 to 3 hours.

3. Remove any unconsumed food the following morning to maintain pristine water quality.
