Dainichi Goldfish Ultra 100g Baby (1mm) Sinking Pellets

Description

Dainichi Goldfish Ultra 100g Baby (1mm) Sinking Pellets — Everyday sinking pellet for young and small goldfish

A young goldfish or a small-mouthed variety cannot manage the same pellet an adult takes easily, and feeding it flake alone misses the benefit of a food built specifically for the species. Dainichi Goldfish Ultra 100g Baby (1mm) Sinking Pellets (SKU: 725203) is the small-pellet, small-pack entry point to Dainichi’s everyday goldfish diet, formulated as a complete and balanced food for all goldfish varieties with natural colour-enhancing ingredients and calcium montmorillonite clay to aid digestion. Where Dainichi’s Color Max line is the dedicated colour formula in the range, Ultra is positioned as the general everyday diet, with colour benefit as part of the package rather than the sole focus. The 1 mm Baby pellet suits young goldfish and smaller-mouthed fancy varieties, and the 100 g pack is a sensible first size for a nursery tank or a single young fish.

The pellet sinks, which matches a goldfish’s habit of foraging along the bottom for most of the day rather than waiting at the surface. Montmorillonite clay, the mineral-rich bentonite Dainichi uses across its range, is included to aid digestion, consistent with how the same clay is used in the maker’s other food lines. At 100 g, the pack is sized for a single young fish, a small nursery tank, or a trial before stepping up; as the fish grows, the same Ultra formula is available in the larger 3 mm Small pellet once a fish is ready to move off the Baby size.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Young goldfish: Fish not yet large enough for an adult-size pellet.
• Small-mouthed fancy varieties: Breeds whose mouths stay smaller as adults.
• Nursery tanks: A single pack covering a small group of growing fish.
• Everyday maintenance diet: General feeding rather than a dedicated colour course.

Feeding Guide

• Two to three feeds daily: Small portions suit young fish better than one large meal.
• Clear within minutes: Offer only what the fish finish quickly.
• Remove leftovers: Siphon out uneaten pellets so they do not foul the water.
• Move up a pellet size as fish grow: Step to the 3 mm Small pellet once the fish can manage it.
