Dainichi Goldfish Ultra 250g Baby (1mm) Sinking Pellets

Description

Dainichi Goldfish Ultra 250g Baby (1mm) Sinking Pellets — Everyday sinking pellet for a nursery of young goldfish

A batch of young goldfish growing on together gets through a small trial pack of food quickly, and restocking the smallest size every few weeks is an inconvenience once the fish are clearly taking to the diet. Dainichi Goldfish Ultra 250g Baby (1mm) Sinking Pellets (SKU: 101588) is the mid-size pack of the 1 mm Baby pellet in Dainichi’s everyday goldfish line, formulated as a complete and balanced diet for all goldfish varieties with natural colour-enhancing ingredients and calcium montmorillonite clay to aid digestion. Ultra sits alongside Dainichi’s Color Max as the general-purpose option in the goldfish range, built for everyday maintenance across a group rather than as a dedicated colour course. The 250 g pack suits a nursery tank of several young fish or a breeder working through a batch of growing goldfish.

The pellet sinks, reaching fish that forage along the bottom of the tank rather than only those competing at the surface, which fits how goldfish of all ages typically feed. Montmorillonite clay, used throughout Dainichi’s range, is included to support digestion in the formula. Because the Baby pellet is sized for young and small-mouthed fish, this pack is intended to be used until the fish grow large enough to move on to the 3 mm Small pellet in the same Ultra line; a 250 g pack gives enough runway to carry a nursery group through that growth period before a size change is needed.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Nursery groups: Several young goldfish growing on together.
• Breeders and growers: Keepers raising a batch through the Baby pellet stage.
• Everyday feeding: General maintenance rather than a dedicated colour programme.
• Before the size step-up: Feeding through to the point fish are ready for the 3 mm pellet.

Feeding Guide

• Two to three feeds daily: Smaller, more frequent feeds across the group.
• Clear within minutes: Offer only what the nursery tank finishes quickly.
• Remove leftovers: Siphon out uneaten pellets at the next water change.
• Watch for growth: Move to the 3 mm Small pellet once fish can manage a larger size.
