Dainichi Goldfish Ultra 500g Small (3mm) Sinking Pellets

Description

Dainichi Goldfish Ultra 500g Small (3mm) Sinking Pellets — Bulk everyday sinking pellet for a goldfish collection

A larger goldfish collection or a pond with several adult fish needs a food bought in a quantity that matches how much actually gets eaten, not a small bag that runs out within weeks. Dainichi Goldfish Ultra 500g Small (3mm) Sinking Pellets (SKU: 101791) is the largest pack of the 3 mm adult pellet in Dainichi’s everyday goldfish line, formulated as a complete and balanced diet for all goldfish varieties with natural colour-enhancing ingredients and calcium montmorillonite clay to aid digestion. As the general-purpose half of Dainichi’s goldfish range, Ultra is intended as the ongoing staple diet rather than the dedicated colour formula sold as Color Max, making the 500 g size a sensible choice once a keeper has settled on it as the day-to-day food for an established group.

The pellet sinks, suiting goldfish that graze along the bottom of the tank or pond for much of the day rather than only competing at the surface. Montmorillonite clay, used across Dainichi’s range, supports digestion in the formula, and the colour-enhancing ingredients give an everyday colour benefit without the food being purpose-built as a short colour course. Buying the 500 g pack means fewer times the bag is opened and resealed over its life compared with repeatedly working through 100 g or 250 g packs, which helps keep the vitamin coating fresher for a larger group being fed regularly. The 3 mm pellet suits adult fancy and common goldfish.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Larger goldfish collections: A bulk pack for several adult fish or a stocked pond.
• Established feeding routines: Once the diet is confirmed, the bigger pack reduces cost per feed.
• Everyday maintenance: An ongoing staple rather than a short colour programme.
• Adult fish: The 3 mm pellet for fully grown fancy and common goldfish.

Feeding Guide

• Two to three feeds daily: Spread smaller portions through the day across the group.
• Clear within minutes: Offer only what the fish finish quickly.
• Remove leftovers: Siphon out uneaten pellets at each clean.
• Reseal firmly: Store cool and dry; a larger pack is opened more often over its life.
