Dainichi Ultima Krill 2.5kg Small (3mm) Sinking Pellets

Description

Dainichi Ultima Krill 2.5kg Small (3mm) Sinking Pellets — Bulk krill pellet for multi-tank cichlid collections

A collection of several cichlid tanks running juvenile to mid-size fish on the same formula gets through a retail pack quickly, and the 3 mm Small grade is the one most mixed-age cichlid collections settle on day to day. Dainichi Ultima Krill 2.5kg Small (3mm) Sinking Pellets (SKU: 101578) is the 2.5 kg bulk pack of Dainichi’s Ultima Krill formula in the 3 mm Small sinking grade, the same shrimp-and-krill recipe sold in smaller packs but scaled for continual multi-tank feeding. Spirulina algae supplies the colour-enhancing effect and calcium montmorillonite clay supports digestion alongside the marine protein load.

The guaranteed analysis is unchanged at this size: crude protein minimum 43%, crude fat minimum 6%, crude fibre maximum 3%, moisture maximum 9% and ash maximum 9%. Wheat germ and wheat flour are the main starch sources, soybean meal and brewers yeast round out the amino acid profile, and milk powder, vitamin mix, mineral mix, garlic, beta glucan and protease complete the recipe. Dainichi’s feeding directions apply at any pack size: two to four times daily, only what is eaten within about a minute, and never pre-soaked. The 3 mm Small grade sits between the Baby and Medium sizes, and 2.5 kg suits a multi-tank collection of juvenile to mid-size cichlids fed daily rather than one lightly stocked tank.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Multi-tank cichlid collections: Bulk feeding across several juvenile to mid-size tanks.
• Clubs and fish rooms: Shared bulk stock for members running the same formula.
• Proven formulas only: Buy this size once fish are confirmed to eat the Small grade.
• Daily high-volume feeding: A high-turnover staple rather than an occasional supplement.

Feeding Guide

• Two to four feeds daily: Offer only what is eaten within about a minute.
• Portion by tank: Divide the bulk pack out per system rather than overfeeding one.
• Never pre-soak: Soaking is said to leach out colour enhancers and vitamins.
• Reseal between uses: Keep the bulk bag dry to protect the vitamin content over time.
