Dainichi Veggie Fx 100g Baby (1mm) Sinking Pellets

Description

Dainichi Veggie Fx 100g Baby (1mm) Sinking Pellets — Colour-enhancing herbivore pellet for small-mouthed cichlid fry

Keepers chasing colour in young Tropheus or Petrochromis want more than a plain plant-based diet can give, without giving up the bloat protection strict herbivores need. Dainichi Veggie Fx 100g Baby (1mm) Sinking Pellets (SKU: 101488) is Dainichi’s colour-enhancing herbivore formula built on the Veggie Deluxe base, coated and encapsulated with spirulina, freeze-dried Cyclop-eeze and NatuRose, a Haematococcus algae source of astaxanthin, plus E. superba krill. Six colour-enhancing ingredient applications go into the recipe, more than the base Veggie Deluxe formula, alongside raw vitamins, digestive enzymes and garlic for general health. Calcium montmorillonite clay binds metabolic toxins and supports the gut, and the pellet is designed to break down into granules in the digestive tract rather than swell, which Dainichi aims at strict herbivores prone to bloat such as Tropheus.

At 1 mm, this is the finest pellet in the Veggie Fx range, sized for Tropheus and Petrochromis fry and other small-mouthed herbivorous cichlids rather than full adults. The ingredient list also includes kelp, white fish meal, soybean meal, wheat flour as binder, shrimp meal, wheat germ, brewer’s yeast, vitamin and mineral mixes, protease as the digestive enzyme, and natural gum. Dainichi positions Veggie Fx as one of its two most colour-intensive herbivore formulas, alongside a sister line built the same way for carnivorous species. The 100 g bag is a trial size, suited to confirming a young colony’s acceptance before moving to a larger pack. Feeding follows Dainichi’s standard direction: offer only what the fish consume within a few minutes, one to three times daily, with smaller and more frequent feeds preferred. No guaranteed analysis is published for this pack. The line also comes in 250 g, 500 g and 2.5 kg, and as the 3 mm Small pellet for adults.
