Dainichi Veggie Fx 250g Small (3mm) Sinking Pellets

Description

Dainichi Veggie Fx 250g Small (3mm) Sinking Pellets — Spirulina and NatuRose herbivore pellet for adult Tropheus

A single display of adult Tropheus or Petrochromis on a plain herbivore diet still falls short of the colour a dedicated colour-enhancing formula delivers. Dainichi Veggie Fx 250g Small (3mm) Sinking Pellets (SKU: 101490) is the 3 mm grade of Dainichi’s colour-enhancing herbivore formula, built on the Veggie Deluxe base and coated and encapsulated with spirulina, freeze-dried Cyclop-eeze and NatuRose, a Haematococcus algae source of astaxanthin, plus E. superba krill. Six colour-enhancing ingredient applications go into the recipe, alongside raw vitamins, digestive enzymes and garlic for general health. The pellet is designed to break down into granules in the gut rather than swell, which Dainichi aims at strict herbivores such as Tropheus that are prone to bloat on the wrong diet.

The 3 mm Small pellet suits adult Tropheus, Petrochromis and comparable herbivorous cichlids, sitting above the 1 mm Baby pellet used for their fry. The recipe also includes kelp, white fish meal, soybean meal, wheat flour as binder, shrimp meal, wheat germ, brewer’s yeast, calcium montmorillonite clay, vitamin and mineral mixes, protease and natural gum. Dainichi positions Veggie Fx as one of its two most colour-intensive herbivore formulas. A 250 g bag is the standard restocking size for a single established tank fed daily. Feeding follows Dainichi’s usual direction: offer only what the fish consume within a few minutes, one to three times daily, favouring smaller and more frequent feeds over one large meal. No guaranteed analysis is published for this pack. The range also comes in 100 g, 500 g and 2.5 kg, and as the 1 mm Baby pellet for fry.
