Description

Insectivore Bottom Tablets 150g — Premium sinking insect-protein diet for shy, active and multi-tank bottom-dwelling species

Insectivore Bottom Tablets 150g (SKU: INS41) deliver a generous, high-capacity supply of fast-sinking, dense food tablets formulated for aquariums with active or multiple populations of bottom-dwelling species like Corydoras catfish, loaches, and plecos. Packed with natural insect larvae meal, this 150-gram tub ensures you have a steady supply of premium nutrition that drops instantly past aggressive surface feeders to provide targeted nourishment right at the substrate layer.
This larger 150g pack features aquarium food tablets engineered with a specialised binder that locks in key insect proteins, allowing the tablets to hold their shape perfectly underwater. This extended, slow-release design gives shy or nocturnal foragers ample time to graze naturally without the food dissolving into useless, messy muck. By breaking down slowly through active grazing rather than rapid melting, these high-density tablets deliver the high-utilisation proteins needed for healthy barbel development, strong skeletal growth, and vital energy levels—all while completely eliminating the localised water fouling and cloudy substrate zones common with standard bottom-feeder foods.

Usage & Application

When to Use

  • Heavily-Stocked Bottom Tanks: Ideal for aquariums housing groups of Corydoras, clown loaches, or plecos.

  • Nocturnal Scavenger Feeding: Excellent night-time feeding for catfish species.

How to Use / Feeding Guide

  1. Drop the appropriate number of tablets to match bottom fish density daily.

  2. Place near substrate caves or open feeding zones.

  3. Discard unconsumed food after 30 minutes.
