New Life Spectrum Thera A Jumbo 2.2kg

Description

New Life Spectrum Thera A Jumbo 2.2kg — Bulk 7.5–8 mm garlic-enriched sinking pellet for large-fish specialists and holding systems

Anyone feeding a collection of oversized predators knows the cost of a food that comes in thumbnail packs. New Life Spectrum Thera A Jumbo 2.2kg (SKU: 102316) is the 2.2 kg size of the Jumbo Thera+A pellet, listed at 7.5 to 8 mm and sinking, made on New Life Spectrum’s Spectrum Nutrition Formula with extra garlic, omega-3 and higher protein. The maker describes the recipe as non-medicated and aimed at stressed or newly acquired fish that may not eat fully, and in this quantity it suits holding systems, public displays and keepers of several very large fish.

New Life Spectrum’s published wording is that its garlic has been shown to increase parasite resistance and immune function in tropical fish and that it is also an attractant. Krill, squid, whole wheat flour, fish, garlic and fish oil lead the list, followed by seaweeds, kelp and chlorella, ginger, astaxanthin, spirulina and marigold, with bentonite clay, sea salt and tocopherols as preservative. Guaranteed analysis is crude protein 39% minimum, crude fat 9% minimum, crude fibre 8% maximum and moisture 10% maximum. With a pellet this size, the number fed per meal is small, so a 2.2 kg bag lasts many weeks for a handful of large fish even on twice-daily feeding.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Aquarium displays: Feeding large show fish where staff handle most of the feeding.
• Rescue and holding: Starting oversized, stressed fish on an attractive food.
• Large predator collections: Keepers with several big-mouthed species in separate tanks.
• Stocking up: Buying once for a season rather than ordering the 600 g size repeatedly.

Feeding Guide

• Twice daily: Keep meals measured by pellet count rather than volume.
• Stop at two minutes: New Life Spectrum’s guidance is to feed what is eaten in one to two minutes.
• Store the bulk bag well: Keep it sealed in a cool, dry place away from light.
• Decant for use: A small daily container limits how often the main bag is opened.
