Star fire 6mm 500x240x300

Description

Absolute Starfire Glass Aquarium 500mm (36L) – 6mm thick 500x240x300 – Glass Fish Tank

The Absolute Starfire Glass Aquarium 50cm (SKU: SF502430) is a premium rimless aquarium fish tank crafted from 6mm high-clarity Starfire (low-iron) glass. Unlike standard float glass fish tanks, which display a slight green tint along the edges, low-iron Starfire glass offers exceptional optical purity, rendering the true colours of aquatic plants, livestock, and hardscape without distortion.

Featuring a frameless design with clear, precision silicone seams, this 36-litre aquarium delivers an unobstructed, modern viewing experience ideal for aquascapes, shrimp tanks, or desktop aquatic setups.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Aquascaping & Planted Setups: Ideal for nature aquariums, Dutch-style planted layouts, and aquascaping where maximum colour fidelity is required.

• Nano & Desktop Aquariums: Perfect size for home offices, living spaces, or countertops needing a compact, modern footprint.

• Shrimp & Community Tank: Safe for freshwater shrimp colonies, small schooling fish, and aquascape layouts.

How to Use

1. Unbox the aquarium carefully and inspect all glass panels.

2. Place a levelling foam mat (sold separately) directly beneath the tank to absorb minor surface imperfections and equalise pressure across the bottom glass.

3. Position the tank on a sturdy, level aquarium cabinet capable of supporting over 45kg when filled with substrate, decor, and water.

4. Fill slowly to avoid disturbing substrates or aquascaping hardscape.
