Lifestyle Classic 72 Complete Glass Aquarium 60cm 72l Satin Black

Description

Lifestyle Classic 72 Complete Glass Aquarium 60cm 72l Satin Black — 60 cm, 72 litre satin black aquarium set with LED and filter

Sixty centimetres is the classic aquarium length, long enough for a proper community of fish and a planted layout, and still a size that fits most living rooms. Lifestyle Classic 72 Complete Glass Aquarium 60cm 72l Satin Black (SKU: 52053BK) is Aqua One’s 72 litre Lifestyle Classic in satin black, a glass aquarium 60 cm long, 33 cm deep and 45 cm high supplied as a complete set with an integrated LED light and an integrated filter. The hood is hinged for easy maintenance access, the light switches between white with moonlight and moonlight only, and filtration is biological, mechanical and chemical. Aqua One rates it for coldwater and tropical fish.

The filter is rated at 450 L/h and 5 W, so it turns the 72 litres over about six times an hour, a lower turnover than in the Lifestyle Classic 40, while the brighter LED draws 14.5 W across the 60 cm length. Spares are the 166i impeller set (25166i), the 25167S black sponge and the 25167C carbon cartridge. A heater is not included; a glass heater, sold separately, makes it tropical. At 45 cm high the 72 has 7 cm more water depth than the 40, which suits taller plants and mid-water fish. Aqua One’s matching satin black cabinet (52053BK-S) is 60 × 33 × 76 cm and takes the overall height to about 121 cm. Expect over 70 kg of water once full.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Community tanks: A 60 cm footprint with room for a mixed group of fish.
• Planted layouts: 45 cm of height for stem plants and taller background growth.
• Coldwater or tropical: Coldwater as supplied, tropical with a separate glass heater.
• Upgrading from 40 litres: The next step up within the same range.

Installation & Setup Guide

• Solid base: Use the 52053BK-S cabinet or a level stand rated for well over 70 kg.
• Substrate and décor: Rinse gravel and ornaments, then arrange them before filling.
• Fill slowly: Pour onto a plate or bag to avoid stirring the gravel, and add conditioner.
• Switch on: Start the filter, fit the hood and select the light mode.
