Seachem Pond Stability 4L “OasisSeachem” (SKU: 724928-2129) is a commercial-grade bacterial inoculant designed to establish and maintain biological filtration in large outdoor ponds, commercial fish farms, and high-volume water features. Containing a specialised blend of aerobic, anaerobic, and facultative bacteria, it rapidly breaks down organic waste, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate.

Pond Stability’s bacterial strains are non-sulphur-fixing, preventing the formation of toxic hydrogen sulphide gas in dense filter media or pond bottom sediments. This 4-litre jug ensures cost-effective bio-management across massive water volumes.

Usage & Application

When to Use

  • New Pond Commissioning: Rapidly establishes the biological filter in new pond builds.

  • Spring Startup: Re-seeds nitrifying bacteria as water temperatures rise in spring.

  • High Stocking Densities: Manages organic load spikes in heavily stocked koi ponds.

Dosage & Application Guide

  • Day 1 Dosage: Add 50 mL per 400 L (100 US gallons) of pond water.

  • Days 2–7 Maintenance: Dose 50 mL per 800 L (200 US gallons) daily for 7 consecutive days.
