Starphire 400x210x280 6mm

Description

Absolute Starfire/Starphire  Glass Aquarium 400mm (23.5L) – 6mm thick 400x210x280 – Glass Fish Tank

The Absolute Starfire Glass Aquarium 40cm (SKU: SF402128) is a compact, high-clarity nano aquarium crafted from 6mm Starfire (low-iron) glass. Engineered for optical purity, Starfire glass eliminates the greenish tint inherent in standard glass, delivering exceptional colour accuracy for aquatic plants, shrimp, and fish.

With a seamless rimless design, clear silicone seams, and micro-bevelled edges, this 23.5-litre tank offers an unobstructed view that blends easily into home, office, or desktop spaces.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Desktop & Nano Aquascaping: Fits compact spaces such as office desks, countertops, and shelving units.

• Shrimp & Nano Fish Keeping: Ideal for breeding freshwater dwarf shrimp (such as Neocaridina or Caridina) or keeping small nano species.

• Planted Aquarium Displays: Maximises light transmission from LED fixtures, allowing live plants to display natural greens and reds without glass discolouration.

How to Use

1. Carefully remove protective foam packaging and inspect the glass panels.

2. Place a high-density levelling foam mat (sold separately) on a flat, level surface before positioning the tank to prevent localised pressure stress.

3. Ensure the supporting furniture can safely bear a static weight of at least 30 kg when fully loaded with water, substrate, and hardscape.

4. Fill slowly over a plate or plastic wrap to keep substrate layers intact.
