The Absolute Double Function Cleaner 30cm (SKU: AS003) is a dual-purpose aquarium gravel vacuum and water changer designed to streamline routine tank maintenance. Featuring a 30cm rigid intake tube with an exclusive elliptical head design, it efficiently extracts trapped fish waste, uneaten food, and debris from gravel or sand beds while siphoning out dirty aquarium water.

By combining sand/gravel washing with water changing into a single operation, this siphon cleaner prevents toxic organic buildup in the substrate without sucking up or disturbing beneficial gravel beds. Constructed from durable, non-toxic materials, it is suitable for medium to large aquariums (60 Litres and above).

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Routine Water Changes: Use during weekly or bi-weekly 10% to 25% water changes to remove waste while drawing down water levels.

• Substrate Maintenance: Apply whenever detritus, fish waste, or organic debris settles into gravel or sand beds.

• Preventing Gas Pockets: Siphon deep sand beds regularly to prevent anaerobic toxic gas pockets from forming.

How to Use

1. Place a clean bucket below the level of the aquarium to allow gravity flow.

2. Insert the 30cm elliptical head into the aquarium water and submerge the siphon tube.

3. Initiate water flow using the built-in manual squeeze pump/siphon mechanism until water flows into the bucket.

4. Press the elliptical head gently into the gravel or sand bed; watch waste lift into the tube while heavier substrate settles back down.

5. Move the vacuum systematically across the substrate until the desired water volume is drained.
