Fluval Algae Magnet And Razor Medium

Description

Fluval Razor+ 2-in-1 Algae Magnet and Razor — Medium Size

The Fluval Algae Magnet and Razor Medium (SKU: FAM02) is a versatile 2-in-1 magnetic aquarium glass cleaner built for medium-sized freshwater and marine setups. Featuring a high-strength magnetic drive, an abrasive internal scrubbing pad, and a snap-on plastic scraper blade, it allows you to wipe away soft film algae and scrape off persistent mineral or coralline buildup without submerging your hands.

Designed for glass aquariums up to 10 mm thick, the cleaner includes a soft felt outer handle that glides effortlessly across exterior glass without scratching. Should the inner magnet lose connection during cleaning, its buoyant housing floats directly to the water surface for quick, easy retrieval without disturbing the substrate.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Regular Glass Cleaning: Quickly wipe away daily soft film algae from medium-sized glass aquariums (up to 300L / 80 gal).

• Tough Algae Scraping: Attach the scraper blade head to remove stubborn green spot algae, diatoms, or coralline deposits.

How to Use

1. Place the internal scrubbing pad inside the aquarium against the glass wall.

2. Hold the external felt-lined handle against the outside glass to engage the magnetic lock.

3. Move the outer handle in steady, sweeping motions across the glass.

4. For tough calcified spots, snap the razor blade head onto the interior cleaning pad prior to placing it in the tank.
