It holds a sheet of seaweed or a piece of vegetable matter against the glass at a height fish can graze on comfortably, and because it rides on the same magnet used for cleaning, it can be left in place between feeds or removed with the same motion as the cleaner itself.

The clip is designed for the side-rail versions of the Large (SKU BM100490) and Scrape Lge (SKU BM100494) cleaners, and the strong neodymium magnet it relies on is rated by Gulfstream not to lose its holding strength over time.
