It holds a sheet of nori or a piece of blanched vegetable against the glass at a height herbivorous fish can graze on, and because it shares the magnet already used for cleaning, there is no separate feeding ring taking up space in the tank.

The clip fits the newer side-rail Mag-Float Small (SKU BM100470) and Long (SKU BM100480) cleaners; earlier Mag-Floats without side rails will not take this fitting. It works on glass and acrylic tanks in both freshwater and marine set-ups, and the neodymium magnet it relies on is stated by Gulfstream not to weaken with ongoing use. The Mag-Float cleaner itself is not included and is sold separately to this listing.
