Usage & Application

When to Use

• Infection Treatment: Administer at the first sign of bacterial infections, damaged fins, cloudiness in the eyes, or open sores.

• New Fish Introduction: Add to the aquarium when introducing new livestock to reduce stress and prevent disease outbreaks.

• Injury Repair: Use following fish handling, netting, or territorial combat to speed up fin and tissue regeneration.

How to Use

1. Shake the bottle thoroughly before each use.

2. Remove any active carbon from your filter during the treatment period and turn off UV sterilisers or protein skimmers (in marine tanks).

3. Dosage: Add 5 mL of API Melafix per 10 gallons (38 L) of aquarium water.

4. Treatment Duration: Dose daily for 7 consecutive days for active infections. On the 7th day, perform a 25% water change. For preventive care during fish introduction, dose daily for 3 days.
