Aquasonic Bactonex is a preventative antiseptic treatment designed to help protect aquarium fish from bacterial, fungal, and protozoal infections. Important: This product is not safe for corals or invertebrates. Activated carbon must be removed from filtration systems before treatment.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Severe/Widespread Bacterial Outbreaks: At the first signs of external infection, treat whole tanks when multiple fish display fraying fins, mouth rot, or open body lesions.

• During regular water changes, or when introducing new fish to an aquarium, in quarantine tanks.

• Post-Aggression Recovery: Dose when fish suffer severe fin damage from tankmate aggression to prevent bacterial necrosis.

How to Use

1. Remove activated carbon or resin filtration media before dosing.

2. Shake bottle vigorously.

3. Dosage Rate: Add 5 mL per 20 L of aquarium water.

4. Repeat dose every 3-5 days until symptoms resolve completely.

5. Perform a 25% water change before reinstalling chemical filter media.
