Aquasonic Fungonex 250ml (SKU: AQS02) is a medium-sized antifungal medication designed to eradicate fungal diseases in freshwater fish tanks. It treats persistent fungal attacks, including cotton wool disease, fuzzy body patches, and fungal infections on open wounds. This larger 250ml size offers an economical solution for medium-to-large aquariums or multi-tank setups requiring thorough, multi-day treatment courses.

Aquasonic Fungonex(250ml) is a highly effective formula for freshwater aquarium treatment; it addresses common fish health issues like fungal infections, fin and tail rot, cloudy eyes, and damaged fins. It has the best efficacy when it is used at the immedieatlty first signs of illness; it also helps protect fish from secondary infections caused by injuries or stress.

It is advised to take special care when treating baby fish, tetras, and scaleless species; in these cases, a reduced dosage of the solution is recommended.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Fungal Outbreaks: Treat visible white, grey, or cotton-like tufts on fish fins, gills, mouth, or body. Fraying, eroding, or reddened fins and tails

• Wound & Injury Recovery: Apply when fish suffer scale loss, fin nipping, or handling damage to prevent fungal spores from infecting raw tissue; this is after injuries caused by netting, aggression, or environmental stress

How to Use

1. Remove activated carbon and turn off UV sterilisers before dosing (chemical filtration absorbs active ingredients).

2. Shake bottle thoroughly before application.

5. Repeat dosage every 3 days until signs of fungal infection disappear.

6. Perform a 25% to 30% water change upon completion of treatment before reinstalling fresh activated carbon.

7. After Treatment Care: Monitor fish closely during treatment. Once treatment is complete, carry out a partial water change to maintain optimal water quality.
