Aquasonic Para-Gone 100 Tabs (SKU: AQS10) is a high-capacity antiparasitic treatment designed for larger freshwater aquariums, fish rooms, or commercial holdings. Formulated to control internal and external parasites in freshwater aquarium fish. It targets troublesome parasites including anchor worm (Lernaea), fish lice (Argulus), gill flukes, skin flukes (Gyrodactylus), anchor worms and tapeworms. Pre-measured tablet dosing makes application straightforward, delivering precise medication directly to the water column without mess or guessing liquid volumes. These pre-measured tablets offer long-lasting pest control. The 100-tablet tub ensures hobbyists and breeders have sufficient stock to run complete initial and follow-up treatments across multiple large tanks.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Large Tank/Multi-Tank Outbreaks: Treat large aquariums or multiple tanks suffering from flukes, anchor worms, or fish lice.

• Routine Quarantine Protocols: Ideal for breeders and importers maintaining ongoing quarantine procedures for incoming livestock. During New Fish Quarantining, to cleanse newly acquired or wild-caught fish of hidden parasites before introducing them to display aquariums.

• Persistent Parasitic Infections: Suitable for multi-stage treatment regimens required to eliminate egg-hatching cycles.

How to Use

1. Turn off UV sterilisers and remove chemical filter media (carbon/resins).

2. Dosage Rate: For standard treatment, add 1 tablet per 50 L of aquarium water and repeat the dose after 7 days.
   For anchor worm treatment or tapeworm treatment, re-dose every 5 days until all adult parasites are eliminated.
   For Cold Water Aquariums, extend the dosing interval to every 12 days.
   For marine (fish-Only) aquariums, reduce the dosage to 1 tablet per 160 litres due to its higher pH levels.
   Re-dose 7 to 10 days later to destroy newly hatched juvenile parasites.

3. Pre-dissolve required tablets in warm aquarium water before pouring into the tank.

4. Allow 3 to 5 days of treatment before conducting a 25% to 30% water change.

5. Recommended Treatment Conditions: Maintain water temperature at approximately 25°C and pH between 6.0 and 7.0 during treatment.
